It’s Thomas. Ummmmm… well, when I first agreed to collaborate with Brother Oliver on his Whiskered Gallantry photo series, he told me that there would be at least a dozen images in it. Last time I counted, there have only been nine images so far, and some of them don’t really count because they are just variations on the same theme (like Battle Cry and Wiener Cry of the Knight, for instance, or the Fangs of the Knight images).
Anyway, I thought I would help Brother Oliver move the series along by borrowing his camera and taking a photo of myself. I understand that humans call this “taking a selfie”, so, I give you the unofficial Whiskered Gallantry #8: Selfie of the Knight!

Very nice selfie. Love your whiskers and ear fluff. Have you thought about the fact that you could be a norwegian? My girl kitty has whiskers, ear and toe fluffs and when I google norwegian there’s a picture of a kitty with the same exact coloring as her. She’s of course a queen and now a norwegian queen.

It’s a very furry cat that has a double coat. Ear and toe fluffs and long pretty whiskers.

What a calm, relaxed expression. What quiet confidence in your eyes. A different kitty from the abandoned and terrified little being who got swept up in the Capture. This is the whiskered & gallant face of a loved, safe, secure kitty … albeit one who might be taking a bit of a tongue-lashing from Brother Oliver right now. But hey, it’s his fault for falling behind on the job!

Brilliant selfie – when typist does them she is usually only just in the picture or you get her eye or something, so only realised this week (After having her new phone for 10 months) that she can swizzle the camera around and see the pic she is trying to take!! Honestly
