Squatting Tiger Week: Day 3- Mama Cat

My Disciples,

We have now seen the entries from Brother Henry and Sir Thomas. Today we bring you a third, more feminine take on the Squatting Tiger pose. For those of you who have been with us for awhile, you know what an amazing cathlete Mama Cat is. Her Flying Squirrel, Dragon KickCatmikaze, Super Wheelie, and Power Pounce moves are legendary, so you can imagine how excited we all were to see her interpretation of Squatting Tiger. Without further ado, here’s Mama Cat:

Mama Cat precise squat

Mama Cat says that Squatting Tiger is about balance and precision. It can be done with one or both paws raised, depending on the situation.

You now have 24 hours to consider Mama Cat’s contribution. Tomorrow, Brother Oliver enters the fray with his own version of Squatting Tiger. I can hardly wait to see it!

Well, Mama Cat did not disappoint. Her Squatting Tiger is the epitome of strength and elegance. She bring a true feminine effervescence to the move. We feel fortunate to have been witness to her genius.

I love reading your comments, mistletoeandhitch. They always make me smile!

I believe Mama Cat’s one armed stance added a higher degree of difficulty. I would expect nothing less from such an amazing cathlete. She always brings her A game. I wonder if she’s trying to impress Brother Henry, or show him up. Hmmmm…

Thank you so very much Heather. Our HuMom helps us with our comments ( the thumb thing, you know?) and you’ve made her day!

  4. Beautiful flowing form! Selleck and His Person, Emily 🙂

  5. Hard to surpass a diva with such elegance and grace combined with power and strength

  6. Excellent form from Mama Cat, as expected, and it looks as if she’s about to get the bird. Does the smile count too? The smile that says, “It’s such a relief to be doing this INDOORS where I finally feel SAFE”?

  7. Mama is at least 2 tiger-lengths ahead of the boys. And we agree with Rhiannon, the smile puts a relaxed, joyful finale on the pose.

  8. Aerin and Cassie

Beautifully posed and contrasted with the artifical bird.

  9. Mama Cat appears to love her new indoor cat gym, complete with a cat tree with drawers. Now, if only the boys would learn to stay on their side!

  10. I got a chance to look at the other links and I was shocked to see the previous moves from Mama Cat. I do believe she may win. She has my vote at least.

  11. Batya Harlow

She’s a super cathlete! I’m sure that her new indoor life, and the love, care, safety, and regular meals that come with that, make her the one to beat in this competition. She is so beautiful!

  12. Nadia Dennis

    I love that right paw.

  18. Whoa! She could hold the Squatting Tiger pose AND stretch out and forward with one paw?! The balance! The use of her core! Simply amazing…she may just win…paw pats, Savvy
