Two More To Purr For

My Disciples,

Those of you who have been with us since the beginning may remember that lost cat posters used to be featured several times a week. Then, in the past year or so, they became a rarer sight on The Blog of Otis. Unfortunately, this was not because there were fewer cat posters to be found but rather because the Guardians were taking far fewer walks in the neighborhood. In recent weeks, they have begun walking again, and you’ve likely noticed the posters are back in full force. For example, this weathered, bird poop splashed poster that tells of the loss of a kitty named Sue:

Lost Cat Poster- Sue-2

Sue is missing. I purr that she is someplace safe.

Or this one that announces that a Persian kitty named Addy is missing:

Lost Cat Poster- Addy-1

Addy is missing. I purr that she is safe and happy.

So what I want to make clear is, the problem of cat’s going missing has not decreased. New posters are going up all the time, even if they are not appearing here on The Blog of Otis. We all need to remain vigilant, and we all need to continue to spread The Good Word about the importance of keeping kitties happy, healthy and safely confined. These posters are not yet a thing of the past. Please continue to do all that you can to help Me change that.

  1. We are always very, very sad when we see them. We watch out the windows all day long.

  2. Heartbreaking. Leader Otis, do you think that vets (leaders of the Bad Places) might be encouraged to spread Your teachings? Perhaps if we could enlist them in the cause, more guardians would be encouraged to follow Your commandments.

  3. That makes us sad, Leader Otis. We purr that these kitties find their way home.

  4. Wildcat

    Purring they both are safe.

  5. Poor lost kitties. Why would anybody spend hundreds of dollars on a Persian and then let her roam around outside and lose her way back home? Sad 😦

  6. Yow diz iz pawfull…to nose dere are hosue kittehz out dere alone n scard!! Me wurriez Addy bein my age may not have made it….Suzy bein younger might have found a new home….me just gonna fink pawsitive…dat dey both iz in new homez, safe n warm!!
