My Disciples,
The Guardians went to the pet food store and discovered a collection of lost cat posters. They also discovered one poster on the street that had a little bit better news than the others.
The first lost kitty was a beautiful Abyssinian boy.
The second missing kitty is a handsome, long-haired tabby named Bo. He looks a little like Thomas.
Next we have Diesel, a 3-year-old black-furred boy with a kink in his tail.
A gorgeous tuxedo kitty is also missing. No name was given.
Another tuxedo kitty, named Orin, is also missing.
In spite of all the sorrow these posters represent, there is some good news in that one kitty has been found. I only wish this kitty was a match for one of the lost posters so we could reunite him or her with a family. For now the kitty is safe at the animal shelter.
As always, I apologize for being the bearer of bad news, but I hope these posters once again drive home the importance of keeping kitties safely confined. Please purr with Me that all of these kitties are safe in loving arms, and please do all that you can to ensure that they kitties in your life do not end up in a photo on a lost poster.
So Sayeth Otis
Oh dear, Leader Otis, we worry for all the kitties that aren’t as fortunate as we are now. The world without wall is at once beautiful and frightening. I wish every kitty viewed it from a safe perch in the window or outdoor enclosure. The people who made these posters seem to care for their kitties, but they don’t seem to get the danger that exists until their kitty goes missing. People rarely let dogs roam at will, why do they think it’s okay for us cats? And, of course, if you had the answers you would educate us all. It’s just so sad. We will purr every kitty pictured here is safe in a confined home for now.
Purrs,
Mistletoe & Hitch
RWB
It is sad, M and H. Thanks for the purrs.
I pray they are in safe loving arms. I know it’s awful, but every time I see a poster, I wish for that precious kitty to be safely across the Rainbow Bridge, so they can enjoy a life of safety and love and never be hungry or scared or sick again. These posters give me such a heavy heart, but I know we cannot ignore them. These beautiful kitties deserve to be remembered.
I know, Christine. They are so hard to see. 😦
Those signs always make us very sad, too. We know that the people who made those signs are genuinely upset that their cats are missing, but they don’t seem to understand that keeping their cats inside is their best way for them to stay safe. We hope all of those lost cats safely find their way back to their guardians.
Me too, catsherdyou.
We will purr and purray for these sweet kitties and hope they found their way home. We also hope the Found Chunky Kitty finds his way to his home, or a new home furry soon. Like You, we wish efurry kitty was safe and loved. XOXOXO
Thanks Spitty.
Purring for all these kitties to be safe, I just hate to see those lost cat flyers. I wish that nothing bad ever happened to kitties.
Me too, Linda!
We are purring that those kitties will be found. And that the found kitty will get back to his home.
Thanks, Island Cats.
I wish people would come back and mark the posters so that we know when the kitties are found. It is so sad when pets go missing.
I wish so too, dogdaz, but I fear that the posters just stay up and fade because most of the kitties aren’t found. 😦
oh my even i feel worried for the kittens. hope someone will find those lost souls
Thanks kishalan. Me too. 😦
