Yesterday, I walked into the living room to find Brother Henry on the couch wedged up against one of the Guardians. He was really smooshed in there, and he looked like he might even be a little bit uncomfortable, but he wasn’t moving at all.
I asked Brother Henry what he was doing, and he opened his eyes to look at Me. He said, “Leader Otis, the Guardian said she isn’t feeling very good. She sat down here on the couch and covered herself with this blanket. Since she wasn’t feeling good, I was afraid she might be so weak that she would fall off the couch. I decided to use my own body as a barricade to keep her from slipping onto the floor.”
I was very pleased that Brother Henry had seen that the Guardian needed to be protected, and that he had acted in such a selfless manner. Since this was a Guardian of Otis that he was keeping safe, he was ensuring that I would continue to stay safe. I told him to carry on, and he replied with a quiet snort that sounded kind of like a snore. I headed up to Kitty Valhalla, secure in the knowledge that Brother Henry was doing all that he could to keep the Guardian, and thus Me, safe.
