Magoo Seeks A Retirement Home

My Disciples,

Disciple of Otis Penny has drawn My attention to the plight of a kitty in My neighborhood that is in need of a new home. His name is Magoo, and his Guardian recently passed away. I don’t know what I would do if the Guardians of Otis were no longer here! It makes Me sad just thinking about it.

Otis Sad for Magoo

Magoo lost his Guardian. It makes Me really sad.

I always talk about kitties being lost or losing their guardians because they have been abandoned, but I have not talked about how difficult it must be for kitties whose Guardians pass away! I know there are literally countless droves of kitties out there waiting for people to snap them up as their own, but if you do have space right now for a kitty in mourning, I encourage you to consider reading Magoo’s story on the West Seattle Blog. At the very least, please send this poor kitty your purrs as he tries to cope with this terrible loss.

You are right Otis, losing someone you love is very hard. When that someone is also the person who attends to your every need and “whim” then it is a double blow. Hopefully Magoo will find a new home soon. Buster sends his “purrs”.

I’m so sorry for that poor cat :( I wish I could take him but 1. We’re renting (no pets :( ) and 2. I don’t think my dad wants another cat… ever! He prefers dogs. But I do send him my purrs!

  3. PURRS and soft cheek pats! It is important to think and make plans for pets – even if temporary safe haven while things get worked out. Nice of you to mention this
    Purring hope for Magoo

    • Thanks Phil. I really hope the poor guy finds a new, loving home.

      • trying to figure out how to work him into a post this weekend. We took in an elderly uncle’s dog when children were ready to get rid of him. Not my fav breed – and he was old, smelled and had skin problems and medical issues – but he had been a loyal treasured companion and deserved better. We did find him a forever home. Just had to do something. PAws crossed with this little guy – thanks for featuring him

      • Thanks Phil. I read some good news in the comments section of Magoo’s post. Apparently there are many people lined up to interview for the position of Magoo’s next Guardian! Odds are very good that he’ll find a loving forever home soon. :-)

  4. Nymeria and I send Magoo all of our purrs, pats, and snuggles. :)

  5. Poor Magoo. Preshy’s foster mama was advanced in years and decided not to keep Preshy because she was afraid this would happen to her some day. It still could I guess, but with four of us, the chances are far less likely that no one will be left to take care of the cats.

  6. I am woo woo woo’ing energy to the Universe to help this sweet kitty find his way.

  7. Poor Magoo! We send him comforting purrs and hope he can fine a new home.

We hope that someone will come to Magoo’s rescue ASAP! The Human is only medium-old but she has several people SWORN to take care of me if anything should befall her. Efurrybody with kitties and woofies should make a “just-in-case” plan! I will purr for Magoo.

  9. me and slinky sending hugs and prayers your way !

Poor Magoo. He must be so sad and confused. Our HuMom has already discussed where we should go if something were to happen to her. She is also the ” godmother” to other kitties. But no matter how well you plan you can never be 100% sure things will work out. We are sending Magoo our strongest love purrs. We hope he finds a happy home.
